Gillette India Ltd., a fast growing consumer goods company, has launched marketing and sales of its own grooming Braun brand in India.
The addition of Braun adds a range of men’s and women’s grooming products such as electric shavers, trimmers, epilators, intense pulsed light hair removal devices and hair care devices to the company’s existing portfolio of brands. company such as Gillette, Oral B, King C Gillette in India, he said in a statement.
Braun, a subsidiary of Procter and Gamble was founded in Germany in 1921; he sells electric grooming devices. Braun was previously imported into India through a distributor. The brand will now be sold and marketed in India through a P&G India entity; marketing will be more localized for the Indian market.
