- Said method of shaving upwards and removing the razor is wrong
- Showed how she slides the razor up and down without lifting it
- The claimed method is perfect for speed and is ideal for going above the knees
Leaving the task of shaving off your spiky pins to the last minute can leave you with pinches and cuts, not to mention the dreaded find you kinda missed.
But now American TikTok user Lauren Henderson has gone viral with a ‘game-changing’ hack that promises to cut shaving time without the risk of cutting yourself.
In the video, which racked up 1.6 million views and 118,000 likes, she claimed the key is to maintain contact between the razor and your leg throughout the shaving process, without lifting the tool.
And she said the trick is so quick it only took her “5 minutes per leg.”
Explaining the process, Lauren said: “I literally just did it, this morning, so grab your razor.
‘You know how we soap our legs and we shave, and we shave, and we do all that, don’t you? Wrong! So wrong! Try this instead: shave, but don’t lift it,” Lauren said.
She demonstrated that instead of sliding the razor up and lifting it, she pushed it back along the skin towards her foot, before sweeping it again, without losing contact with her leg.
The downward motion releases loose stubble from the blades, so there’s no need to keep lifting the razor to rinse it.
